STEM LEADERS OF THE FUTURE CONTEST
Celebrate all things science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) by taking part in our STEM Leaders of the Future contest!
We invite you to celebrate with us over the next year as we commemorate this significant milestone. From feature events to public engagement initiatives, we want to take this opportunity to engage registrants and the public in learning more about how engineering and geoscience shape our province and our communities.
We have celebrated the achievements in engineering and geoscience over the past 100 years. But what will the next 100 years look like? The future will be shaped by the next generation of engineers and geoscientists. What advice and words of wisdom would you give them?

Our 3D chalk art features three feats of engineering and geoscience from the past 100 years. This unusual form of street art tricks the viewer’s eyes into seeing three dimensional scenarios and objects on completely flat surfaces.
Visit this unique installation in the following cities throughout March and April.

Our 100 year campaign has successfully generated the following media coverage:
- March 4: Coverage in the Kelowna Now of the 3D Chalk Art that is currently on display at Orchard Park Mall in Kelowna.
- March 5: Prince George Daily News covered the 3D Chalk Art that was on display in the Prince George Civic Centre.
- March 9: The 3D Chalk Art was covered by CKPG Today.
- April 17: Official Proclamation from government.
