AGM Motions Received in Advance

Ahead of the 2018 Annual General Meeting (AGM), members were encouraged to submit motions in advance in order to enable publication of the motion and supplementary information. This process in intended to support informed debate at the meeting.

The submission deadline was September 20, 2018, and one motion was received.  The motion was circulated to members via email on October 11, 2018. 
 

Motion 1


Motion: That council consider undertaking and putting the necessary resources into the development of a comprehensive Climate Change Action Plan that will provide direction on the roles and duties of EGBC's member in addressing this issue.

The motion above will be presented at the AGM on October 20, 2018,  for discussion and debate by members. You must be in attendance to cast a vote for this motion.

If you missed the September 20 advance motion deadline, you can still submit a motion from the floor at the AGM. All motions must be received prior to the deadline approved by the assembly (usually 10:00 AM on the day of the AGM). In-person motion forms are available here

Council Consideration of Motions
