Women in Engineering and Geoscience Division
A community that encourages and promotes women at all levels in engineering and geoscience.
To build a strong and supportive community to connect, attract, promote, retain, and advocate for women in engineering and geoscience.
The Women in Engineering and Geoscience Division supports 30 by 30, Engineers Canada’s initiative aimed at increasing the representation of women within the engineering field. This initiative has a goal of raising the percentage of newly licensed engineers who are women to 30% by the year 2030.

Everybody who shares our vision is welcome to become a member of this division, including female and male association members and members-in-training, students, and interested members of the general public.
Membership is free to all new and existing members. Membership will put you on our mailing list, connecting you with events and information related to women in engineering and geoscience, and will get you discounts at many of our events.
The Women in Engineering and Geoscience book club is for the people who are interested in sparking conversations about women and the workplace.
The book club is run primarily through the volunteer efforts of the division executive committee. Sessions are hosted via teleconference so that members across the province can discuss and connect on the book together.
Register as a Women in Engineering and Geoscience Division Member to receive email invitations to upcoming book club discussions. If you have any questions regarding the book club, check out our FAQ or please contact Michelle McLarty at [email protected].
If you have any feedback or would like your organization or event advertised through our network, please contact Azadeh Koohzare at [email protected].
