Benevolent Fund Society

The Engineers and Geoscientists BC Benevolent Fund Society is a registered charity assisting registrants in financial distress to overcome short-term cash-flow difficulties. Assistance is administered on a case-by-case basis by a Board of Directors and operates at arms-length from Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia.

Applications for Assistance

Trainees and professional registrants or licensees of Engineers and Geoscientists BC are eligible to apply to the Benevolent Fund. Applications for assistance can be made by  forwarding a completed Benevolent Fund Application Form, a brief one-page cover letter detailing your circumstances, and a copy of your most recent resume to [email protected]. The confidentiality of all applications is strictly maintained. Please ensure “Benevolent Fund Application” appears in the subject line of your email. You may also mail your application to:

Program Update

The Society is no longer accepting donations as of October 3, 2021, and will cease the disbursement of grants effective April 1, 2022. For more information on the changes to the Benevolent Fund Society, please see our article in eNews.
