Reporting to the Assistant Manager, Maintenance, and working closely with the maintenance and operations departments, the Junior Maintenance Planner is responsible for duties including maintenance planning, materials coordination, and inventory management. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of purchasing, inventory, and materials management, as well as technical knowledge of bulk material handling equipment. This position is full-time and located in Port Moody, BC.
The successful candidate will have relevant post-secondary education with a minimum of two (2) years of experience in a maintenance or related materials coordinator position. Knowledge of maintenance principles and experience with automated equipment is preferred. A basic understanding of port and marine business would be considered an asset as well as experience working within mechanical maintenance, automation or electrical engineering. The successful candidate will be service-focused with advanced organizational and interpersonal skills.
