Renewed Brand for the Association
On August 23, 2017, we launched our new brand identity and became Engineers and Geoscientists BC. This change will help us bring greater clarity to our role as the provincial regulator for the professions of engineering and geoscience. The candidate statements were submitted prior to this change. References to the association as APEGBC or as the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of BC have not been adjusted.

Candidates' election statements are included in the election material for the information of members. All candidate statements must comply with the Election Policy. Council candidates were also invited to participate in a Q&A, on an optional basis, to allow candidates to share their thoughts on key issues for the association and to the professions of engineering and geoscience. Responses received from candidates by the deadline are included in the election material. Election statements and Q&A responses are not edited for grammar or typographical errors, but have been formatted for consistency.

The opinions expressed by candidates are not necessarily those of the association, but are permitted to ensure an appropriate and robust debate of the issues that may be of importance to members of the association.

As per the Election Policy, the candidate names appear in alphabetical order in the election materials. The names on the ballot are listed in order of random draw. Candidate statements will not be available in the voting module. Please be sure to have your selections ready prior to proceeding to voting using the “Vote Now” button below.
