Masterful Mentoring - Take Your Mentoring Skills to the Next Level Seminar. This ´express’ workshop provides mentors with the skills, tools and techniques to increase their mentoring effectiveness within the engineering profession. We’ll explore best practices and principles of powerful mentoring; deepen your skill set through a series of interactive practice opportunities to strengthen and enhance the mentee’s learning and raise the level of satisfaction of both mentoring partners.

During this interactive seminar you will:
  • Know when to mentor and when to coach
  • Learn how to give and receive feedback to improve communication
  • Learn how to set HARD & SMART goals to achieve desired results and develop action plans to support the individual
  • Gain tips for long distance mentoring and coaching

Jenny Lewis - Lewco Consulting Inc.

Jenny Lewis is the owner of LEWCO Consulting Inc. She has over 30 years business experience including 22 years’ experience in leadership training and development and performance consulting.

Jenny’s current focus is assisting organizations to enable their people to perform to their full potential by creating sustainable learning and coaching/mentoring cultures. She specializes in environment scans, strategy development, design and facilitation, and leadership training. Jenny has developed and facilitated leadership and leadership coaching/mentoring training programs; developed performance assessment and evaluation tools; co-founded, designed and currently instructs the ‘Leadership Certificate program specializing in Leadership Coaching’ at Vancouver Community College. Her unique strengths are strong facilitation skills, excellent relationship-building skills and creative training designs.
