Early works construction for the Evergreen Line began in January 2012 and is now complete.

In December 2012, EGRT Construction, a consortium led by SNC Lavalin, has been awarded the contract to design, build and finance the Evergreen Line. EGRT Construction will build 9 km of elevated and at-grade guideways, a 2 km tunnel, 6 new stations, an expansion to the Lougheed Town Centre Station, power substations, train operating systems, and parking facilities, as well as a vehicle-storage and light maintenance facility.

The Evergreen Line is on schedule for completion in the summer of 2016.
Ample time will be provided for questions on the speaker’s topic.
