Speech Sound Workshop:

            Light and Dark Side of the "L" Sound

            Consonants at the Ends of Words
            Linking Sounds Together
            The No-Stress Way to Learn English Stress Patterns
            I've Got Rhythm, So Can You
            The Highs and Lows of English Intonation
              
Unique Features of the Course
The course is offered by a registered speech-language pathologist, who brings the methods and techniques of clinical speech therapy to accent reduction.  Do not expect boring word lists to repeat!

Professionals with high-level English skills who want to improve their speech clarity and communication effectiveness
 
Presenter
Patrick Byrne is a speech-language pathologist with an extensive background in helping people communicate better. Patrick holds a master's degree in speech science from UBC, providing him with a solid understanding of sound production and comprehensive training in speech analysis. He is a member of the Speech-Language Audiology Canada and the College of Speech and Hearing Professionals of BC. He has worked with a diverse clientele in both public health and private practice. Previous to becoming an speech therapist, Patrick worked as a certified TESL instructor, and has taught English both in North America and overseas.
