Join APEGBC in celebrating the recent advancements of women in engineering and geoscience professions.

This will be a time to acknowledge the many successes of the past few years including actions taken on the Women in Engineering and Geoscience Task Force recommendations, the significant increase in women entering engineering and geoscience undergraduate programs, a greater focus on gender diversity issues in university applied science programs, and the appointment of women to senior leadership positions in the professions. This is a result of the sustained effort over years of initiatives by the Division for Advancement of Women in Engineering and Geoscience, and others. It will also provide a chance to look forward on the future and next steps. Our guest speaker will be Catherine Roome, P.Eng., President and CEO of the BC Safety Authority. Make time in your day to join us and celebrate!

Reception to include appetizers and a cash bar. Partial proceeds to the APEG Foundation.
