Opinions on energy development and transportation are constantly evolving, and with the recent approval of the Northern Gateway Pipeline and the ongoing application for the TransMountain Expansion project, British Columbians are more interested than ever before in ensuring pipelines are constructed and operated safely. The National Energy Board is Canada's pipeline safety regulator. Iain Colquhoun, the NEB’s Chief Engineer will share what the National Energy Board is doing to protect the public and the environment and to ensure that pipeline companies are demonstrating that same commitment to safety in the maintenance and development of their projects.
Following the presentation there will be ample time for questions. We invite you to join in the discussion on pipeline safety in Canada.
