In celebration of National Engineering and Geoscience Month for the month of March 2014, the Sea to Sky Branch of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of BC (APEGBC), is hosting a Popsicle Stick Bridge Competition in Sechelt, BC on March 16, 2014 and on the North Shore on April 20, 2014.
This exciting event challenges elementary and secondary students to build a bridge using only Popsicle sticks glue, and design it to be capable of holding heavy loads. Engineering skills, career development, interesting facts, and science at work are all part of our month long celebration.
: Pick up a kit from Kidsbooks (3040 Edgemont Blvd, North Vancouver, BC). A deposit of $5 is required but is refunded with your entry.
