7:30 – 8:30 pm Speaker’s Presentation.
8:30 – 9:00 pm Questions and answers. Discussion.
9:00 pm Closure.
Location: Pinnacle Hotel At the Pier, 138 Victory Ship Way, North Vancouver, BC
Presenter: Mayor Richard Walton
Mr. Richard Walton has served nine years as the Mayor of North Vancouver District and has been acclaimed as Mayor to serve his community until 2018. 

He also serves on Boards for Metro Vancouver, the Municipal Finance Authority of BC and TransLink. In 2014 he was elected by his peers to a fourth term as Chair of the Mayors Council serving Vancouver’s regional transit authority.

Mr. Richard Walton has a BA from UBC, an MA in Education from SFU, and in 2012 was elected as a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of BC.
Credit: 1.5 Professional Development Hours (PDH)
Cost: $55 each for members and non-members who pre-register online at APEGBC.
$45 for guests of members or non-members who pre-register online at APEGBC.
$40 for EIT or GIT’s who pre-register online at APEGBC.
$30 for student members of MAPS who pre-register on-line at APEGBC.
$60 for all drop-in registrations at the door (space permitting).

With 1 million additional people expected in Metro Vancouver over the next 30 years, the cost of not investing in our transportation system will be the highest cost of all.  We need to protect our economy, our environment and our quality of life.
