Date: Saturday, May 24, 2014
Time: 9:00 AM   -  Assemble at Park Royal North parking lot, in front of Hudson Bay store.
9:15 AM  -   Car pooling departure from Park Royal North.
10:00 AM  -  Assemble at the registration desk to start the tour of the museum.
12:00 PM   -   Meet for optional lunch at Sea to Sky Grill, Furry Creek golf course.
2:00 PM   -   Return to Park Royal North parking lot, in front of Hudson Bay store.
Location: Meet At Park Royal North Parking Lot North Vancouver, BC
Credit: 1 Informal Professional Development Hours (PDH)
Cost: $25 per person for registration online to the guided tour of the Britannia Mine Museum
The cost of the optional lunch will be on separate individual bills. If you want to opt out of the lunch, please consider your car-pooling obligations.
Note: During on-line registration, please indicate if you can offer car pooling and the number of passengers that can be accommodated. If you need a ride, please request that during online registration.

During online registration, please also indicate if you would like to join the optional lunch group. We need to reserve the required number of tables preferably by Friday, May 16, 2014.
APEGBC Sea-to-Sky Branch Technical Tour - Britannia Mine Museum.
The tour includes 45 minutes with a guide through the mine tunnel and mill, 15 minutes to view a documentary about the mine and about 15 minutes to browse through the museum exhibits with an option of trying your luck at gold panning.

The tour includes walking up 48 steps to the tunnel entrance where the guided part starts. Sturdy footwear and a warm jacket are required in the mine museum.
