APEGBC Career Development Event for Engineering and Geoscience Job Seekers. APEGBC will be hosting a career development event for individuals with a background in engineering/geoscience are currently looking for resources to enter or progress in their careers. This event will aim to provide attendees access to resources that can help them obtain an engineering/geoscience position or can help them develop further in their engineering/geoscience career. This event is open to any individuals who have an educational background in engineering or geoscience and are currently unemployed or under-employed. After a short presentation on Interviews, Resumes and Networking - Best Practices and Top Tactics by Brent Lyon, P.Eng., attendees will be invited to visit with each exhibitor during the exhibitor mix & mingle portion of the evening.

Who is eligible to attend?
Applicants, members-in-training, professional members or non-members who have a Canadian or international educational background in engineering or geoscience and are either unemployed or underemployed.

This event would aim to provide attendees access to the following resources/skills:

  • Networking tips
  • Interviews best practices
  • Graduate/educational programs available
