This short course is aimed at engineers, scientists, technicians working in the chemical and process industries, at government agencies who work in close collaboration with chemical engineers, non-chemical engineers who work with or supervise chemical engineers as well as legal and other professionals who must interact with or manage chemical engineering work and companies who employ chemical and process engineers. It offers an introduction to some of the main subject areas involved in chemical engineering disciplines and introduces chemical and process engineering basics and principles to non-chemical engineers.

Special Features
The course will broaden the technology base of participants with a view to promote improved communication with chemical engineers and knowledge of chemical engineering. It will overview the basics of chemical engineering theories, calculations and design. Participants will be able to understand chemical and process engineering terminology and notations, understand chemical engineering drawings, reports, and design sheets and communicate efficiently with chemical engineers and within chemical and process engineering industries in general
