APEGBC Branch Consultation: Proposed CPD Bylaw and Legislative Amendments
This presentation will provide members with information on the proposed CPD bylaw and the proposed legislative amendments, as well as an opportunity to ask questions and to share opinions and feedback on both topics.

Your feedback will assist us in determining the type of information members are seeking in order to become more informed on these topics. This process supports stronger member participation and enables Council to enact changes, when appropriate.

Additional Resources:

Construction Contracts
The Central Interior Branch is also pleased to have local engineer Olaf Starck, P.Eng., give a presentation on risk considerations in construction contracts. Contract styles are traditionally chosen to focus on schedule and/or cost certainty without much consideration into construction risks and opportunity. Olaf’s presentation will provide insight into the consideration of risk in choosing contract styles and will cover transfer of risk to contractors, contract interface considerations and contract command structures.
