Details:
In response to the massive power outage during the last weekend of August, 2015, the doubt that now troubles everyone, is that, if a windstorm can cause such massive damage, what catastrophic results can an earthquake in the Fraser Valley cause?

Our APEGBC members understand how most of us live in earthquake country, and many more understand the damage such an event could cause. What can members do before the earth starts shaking? And what can members do when the shaking stops?

The speaker will cover the key points of earthquakes from a practitioners’ point of view, and speak to the need and value our members bring to the table, before and after a seismic event. Ginger hopes we are, “up to the challenge” as she shares how to get engaged and move our communities towards readiness and resilience.
