3:00 pm - Tour the Duteau Water Treatment Plan
4:30 pm - Dive to the RDNO Office for the presentation
5:00 pm - Presentation on the RDNO Master Water Plan and pizza dinner
Location: Duteau Water Treatment Plant RDNO Head Office 9848 Aberdeen Road Coldstream, BC
Credit: 2 Informal Professional Development Hours (PDH)
Cost: $10 for members and guests who register online.
Free for EIT/GIT's and APEGBC Student members (please register online to help us predict our catering needs).
Note: Please do not wear open toe footwear on this tour (ex. no flip flops, sandals, or crocks).

This event will include a tour of the Duteau Water Treatment Plant and a presentation on the Greater Vernon Water Referendum for Water Quality Improvements. During the presentation, pizza dinner will be served.

The Regional District of North Okanagan-Greater Vernon Water (RDNO-GVW) operates a complex water system that relies on a number of raw water sources. Every year, an average of 24 billion litres of water is delivered to approximately 55,000 users in the Greater Vernon water service area. The Regional District manages the regional water utility, and contracts operation and maintenance to the City of Vernon and the District of Coldstream.
