12:00 PM-5:00 PM: Sponsorship: Sea To Sky Branch Bridge Building Competition
Sechelt Indian Band Community Hall, 5555 Sunshine Coast Hwy, Sechelt, BC
$5 deposit refundable when bridge is submitted for testing at the event. Deposit includes bridge building materials. Bridge building kits are available at GBS (Gibsons Building Supply), Sechelt & Gibsons, and at Rona in Madeira Park.
This event is part of National Engineering and Geoscience Month (NEGM); an annual celebration of engineering and geoscience across Canada. The goal of this event is to promote the awareness of the engineering and geoscience professions, showcase career choices and the many ways in which engineering and geoscience relate to our everyday life.
