EIT/GIT Seminar: "How to Obtain Your P.Eng. or P.Geo. Designation". Organized by the APEGBC Tri-City & Vancouver Branches. After a short networking opportunity, the speaker will discuss the benefits of becoming a P.Eng./P.Geo.; application forms; the law and ethics seminar; the ethics test; examples of applicable experience; how to record/document experience and more.

Jason Ong is the Manager of Member-in-Training Programs for the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of BC. In this position, he is responsible for overseeing the internship periods for Engineers-in-Training (EITs) and Geoscientists-in-Training (GITs). This involves processing applications as well as maintaining the EIT/GIT Online Experience Reporting System. He also currently oversees all applications for professional geoscience licensure and coordinates the Professional Practice Examination.
Questions:Registrants are encouraged to submit questions that they would like to be answered by the speaker prior to the event. Submit your questions during the online registration process. Time permitting, these questions will be answered in a Frequently Asked Questions period prior to the formal question and answer segment.

If you would like to have your EIT or GIT certificate framed and presented at the event, please email
well ahead of the event to inform the organizer. Please remember to bring your certificate with you to the event.
