"Future Municipal Projects for Engineers"
The City of Coquitlam, with a population of around 141,000, is one of the fastest growing communities in British Columbia. With over $4B invested in major infrastructure projects (the Hwy 1 Improvement Project and Evergreen Line), significant population and investment growth, central location in the heart of Metro Vancouver and a thriving business community, Coquitlam is well positioned for success.
Essential to this growth are plans for guiding Coquitlam’s steady urban development and growth. These plans incorporate transportation systems, environmental considerations, infrastructure requirements, business and services opportunities, heritage planning neighbourhood characteristics and amenities.
