The Vancouver Island Branch has partnered with other local groups for the 5th Annual CANstruction Design and Build Competition. This event has been organized to support the Loaves & Fishes Community Food Bank in Nanaimo.

The Challenge:
Teams of architects, engineers, contractors, designers and interested community groups are challenged to design and build a structure made entirely from canned foods within a 10'x10'x8'h space. These structures will be on display throughout the Woodgrove Centre for public viewing until July 12, 2015.

The Theme:
The theme for this year's event is Summertime fun in the Harbour City. Structures should fit this theme in some way.

Important Dates:
April 30 - Deadline for Team Entry
June 24 - Food Delivered to Woodgrove Centre
June 24 Building Commences
June 27 - Building Completed by 11:00 am
