John Stonier, Electric Vehicle enthusiast and entrepreneur, will present insights on what's happening with electric cars today and where we are going next. Expect a rousing presentation on emerging technology, EV economic advantages and automotive industry dynamics. John will discuss charging infrastructure requirements and opportunities, and review of the continuation of BC Clean Energy Vehicle incentives that took effect April 1, 2015.

Speaker: John Stonier, CPA, CA is a long time builder, owner and driver of electric cars.  Following a career in senior financial roles in high-tech, internet and renewable energy companies, he is currently CEO and co-founder (with three APEGBC members) of a new take on sustainable, zero-emission urban transportation: VeloMetro Mobility Inc.  VeloMetro is building the VeloCarTM - a human-electric powered enclosed vehicle, classified as an electric bike specifically built for the sharing economy within urban cores.
