Organizational Quality Management
APEGBC’s Organizational Quality Management (OQM) Program has been developed to improve the quality management of professional engineering and geoscience practices at the individual and organizational level. This voluntary program offers certification to participating organizations.

There are many benefits to OQM Certification. Depending on the organizations area of practice, its size (sole practitioners included), and the products and/or services it offers, the benefits may significantly differ. One thing that remains consistent is that OQM Certification benefits your business, clients and ultimately the public.

Kelly Dayman, AScT. is the Organizational Quality Management program Administrator at APEGBC.  Kelly has over 20 years experience in the consulting and manufacturing industries, 12 years of which he has been involved in Quality Management Programs. Kelly is an ISO 9001 Lead Auditor and joined APEGBC specifically to launch the OQM Program and be the program administrator.

Kimberley SunMine Solar Photovoltaic Generating Station
The Kimberley SunMine project, which was constructed by the City of Kimberley, has an installed capacity of 1 MW and went into commerical operation on June 22, 2015.

The presentation will be preceded by dinner and a brief Annual General Meeting of our local branch. If you are interested in becoming a branch executive we have a selection of positions available, including "member-at-large". This position is an ideal introductory position because it gives you the opportunity to get involved in the activities you select, at the extent you select. Please consider volunteering some of your talents to help the West Kootenay branch suceed.

The event is being held in Rossland at the Prestige Mountain Resort and Conference Centre, and dinner includes Gabriella's Classic Carved Buffet. All spouses, partners and guests are encouraged to accompany members to this event. Please indicate when registering if a vegetarian meal is preferred. A no-host bar service will also be available at additional cost.
