This trip will be leaving Castlegar on a chartered bus and will be driving to visit the Underground Mining Railway and the SunMine in Kimberley.

The Underground Mining Railway is located underneath the Rocky Mountain Trench in the city of Kimberley and it leads to the Sullivan Mine. The train tour goes through the Mark Creek valley, and then takes you underground towards the mine. The walking tour will visit the Sullivan Mine Powerhouse for a guided tour of the huge compresors and generators that powered the mine.
