APEGBC welcomes you to join us for a Student and Industry Night at UNBC on April 5. This fun and casual evening provides a great opportunity for students to meet with industry members to socialize and network with fellow engineers and geoscientists.
5:30 PM - 6:00 PM: Registration
6:00 PM - 7:00 PM: Presentations
7:00 PM - 8:30 PM: Networking
Registration will take place starting at 5:30 PM in the Bentley Centre at UNBC, outside of rooms 7-170/7-172.
Jeff Bennett, P.Eng.

Canfor Pulp Ltd.
Jeff Bennett graduated from the University of Waterloo in 1983 as a Chemical engineer. In 1985, he relocated to Prince George to work as a process engineer at Canfor in the Intercon Pulp Mill. Over the next 21 years, Jeff worked as a process engineer and process control engineer in many areas of the Intercon and Prince George mills. During this period, Jeff also trained as a HAZOP Study Leader and as an ISO Auditor. Jeff then moved to the newly formed position of Training Coordinator, responsible for developing training guidelines and reference material for the operating positions within the Intercon and Prince George mills.
Jeff is currently a Customer Service Manager, which is a liaison position between the mills, customers, and sales groups that deals with customer queries and complaints and coordination of activities between the marketing group and the mills. This role includes being the ISO Management Rep for the three mills.
