Note: Please wear close-toed sturdy footwear (no high heels) and weather-appropriate leg/arm covering clothing. Hard hats, safety vests and eyewear will be provided.
Metro Vancouver's drinking water comes from reservoirs in three watersheds - Capilano, Seymour and Coquitlam. The Seymour-Capilano Filtration Plant (SCFP) treats water from both the Seymour and Capilano sources. The tour will provide a chance for our members to see the LEED Gold building facilities and learn about the water treatment processes.
