Tour of AltaGas Run of River Projects

Members are asked to bring Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including safety boots, a hard hat and a high visibility vest. Also, attendees need to bring a packed lunch for the trip to the first site.

Please join the APEGBC Northern Branch for a tour of the northwest AltaGas hydroelectric facilities located on the Iskut River. The facilities are now complete and have been acknowledged by Clean Energy BC and by the Association of Consulting Eningeering Companies.

AltaGas will provide attendees with a tour of their Northwest Hydroelectric Facilities on the Iskut River, including bus transport from Terrace, food and overnight accommodations on site.

Saturday August 20

8:00 AM - Pick up in Terrace by AltaGas Bus
2:00 PM - Arrival at site
3:00 PM - Tour First Site   
5:00 PM - Dinner
6:00 PM - Tour of Second Site
Overnight Stay at the Iskut River Construction Camp

12:00 PM - Leave the project
