Mentoring Mondays: Find a Match Night

Do you want to know more about the APEGBC Mentoring Program? Are you looking for a mentor? Are you looking for a mentee? Come out and get active in the program! Find a Match Night is intended for you to find the answers to the questions above. Please see below for more information on our Mentoring Mondays series.

This event is open to APEGBC members who are signed up for the APEGBC Mentoring Program or those members who are contemplating joining. This event includes time to enjoy some appetizers while mixing and mingling with prospective matches. As well, there will be an informative presentation on the APEGBC Mentoring Program.

This is the first in a series of branch events that are planned to be held on a regular basis on Monday evenings. These events are intended to increase member engagement in and raise the profile of APEGBC’s Mentoring program.

Future events in the series, will include the following themes:
  • Find a match night
  • Sharing best practices amongst members
  • Sharing best practices amongst mentors
  • Guest presenters speaking on how to get the most out of a mentoring relationship

Mentoring Program Details

APEGBC’s Mentoring Program is no longer just about helping EIT’s and GIT’s get their professional status. It now includes mentoring for:
  • APEGBC registration process
  • Career counselling
  • Entrepreneurship
  • Retirement and succession planning
  • General mentoring
  • Establishing a professional network
