Come join us for a mixer open to all Tri-City Branch members as well as members of nearby areas! This is a great opportunity to socialize and network with fellow engineers and geoscientists in your area in a relaxed informal environment. The event will also feature a short presentation by Dan Meldrum, P.Geo., on the topic of
"Using Lasers to Better Understand Earthquakes."
Finally, you will also learn about your local branch and volunteering opportunities to give back to the community. All disciplines are welcome!

Dan Meldrum, M.Sc., P.Geo.
Dan has a B.Sc. in Geology from the University of Alberta (Remote Sensing Thesis) and a M.Sc. in Earth and Atmospheric Sciences at the University of Alberta specializing in Geo Hazards – Remote Sensing.
Dan's work experience includes:

Oil/Gas Exploration in Alberta/BC
