Garth Kirkham, P.Geo., FGC, FCIM

Chair, CIM Best Practices Committee,
CIM Distinguished Lecturer, 2013-2014,
Director, Geoscientists Canada and Chair, Securities Committee

With over 30 years of experience, Mr. Kirkham is the principal of Kirkham Geosystems Ltd. that specializes in 3D computer modeling and resource and reserve estimations at the preliminary economic assessment, pre-feasibility, and feasibility study stages of mining projects. He obtained a Bachelor's degree in Science from the University of Alberta in 1983. He is a Professional Geoscientist in British Columbia, Alberta, the Northwest Territories and Nunavut, Ontario, and Manitoba. He has served on APEGBC Council twice in 2010–2011 and 2012–2014. Mr. Kirkham is a Guest Lecturer for instructing senior level classes on NI 43-101, CIM Definitions Standards and Best Practices, geology and mining, database management, data analysis, geologic modelling, resource estimation, and mine design. He is Past-CIM President and is also Chair of the CIM Best Practices Committee and Chair of the Geoscientists Canada, Securities Committee.

Lindsay Steele, P.Geo.
Practice Advisor, Professional Practice, Standards, and Development, Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia

Lindsay Steele is a Professional Geoscientist with nine years of experience in the mineral exploration and mining industry. In 2015, Lindsay joined APEGBC as a Practice Advisor in the Professional Practice, Standards, and Development Department. In this role, she provides practice advice to members, manages various practice guidelines, and is involved in numerous professional practice programs.
