Join us for an evening of networking, dinner and a presentation featuring Peter Joyce, P.Eng., President of Bunt & Associates. Mr. Joyce will provide an overiew of transportation trends and issues affecting Vancouver’s North Shore from an engineering perspective. Please read the full description below for more detail.

Bunt & Associates Engineering Ltd. is one of the leading transportation planning and consulting firms in Western Canada and involved with many of the high-profile development projects in the Metro Vancouver Region, including several on the North Shore.

Traffic has long been a hot button topic among North Shore residents and businesses alike, though perhaps now like never before. Traffic back-ups in the morning heading north across the bridges onto the North Shore and in the afternoon head back south have become routine, and traffic movement east-west through the community past the bridgeheads of the Lions Gate Bridge and Ironworkers Second Narrows Bridge is strained during peak traffic periods of the day.

Senior staff from Bunt & Associates will provide some background on past, present, and future transportation trends of consequence to North Shore transportation, touch on a number of transportation infrastructure improvements either planned or now under construction, and share space around the crystal ball seeking out a better mobility future for the area.

Presenter

Peter Joyce, P.Eng.

President, Bunt & Associates

Peter is very proud both with his role in the growth of Bunt & Associates over the past 20 years since the company was established in 1993 and of the many transportation planning and engineering projects that he has been part of over this period. Apart from his extensive project experience base and technical skills with urban transportation applications, Peter is also widely recognized for his ability to effectively communicate often technically complex transportation considerations to a broad range of audiences.
