Please join the Tri-City Branch of Engineers and Geoscientists BC for a tour of the Moody Ales Brewery. A lot of work goes into engineering the perfect beer including selecting species, water treatment, constructing a facility able to bear the weight of brew tanks, to canning. Yes canning, ask them about their Crowler®! This event is a tour of the brewery and a chance to sample the products while networking with other professionals. Please read full description below for more detail.

Established in the autumn of 2014 in Port Moody, Moody Ales is the brainchild of Adam Crandall and Dan Helmer. It is now one of four breweries comprising the locally dubbed “Brewer’s Row”. Guided by one of the brewers, participants will explore the tasting room and brewery. We will start with a brief overview of the history of the brewery. The tour will cover topics including construction of the facility and equipment used to produce beer.  It will also comprise a breakdown of their core beers (plus lone cider), and their currently available seasonal special. Questions are encouraged during the tour.
