Please join the Tri-City Branch of Engineers and Geoscientists BC for a tour of the Yellow Dog Brewery. A lot of work goes into engineering the perfect beer including selecting species, water treatment, constructing a facility able to bear the weight of brew tanks, to bottling and nitro-infusing. This event is a tour of the brewery and a chance to sample the products. Please read full description below for more detail.

Established three years ago in Port Moody, Yellow Dog Brewing is a family-run brewery focused on producing high quality locally crafted beer for everyone to enjoy. It is now one of four breweries comprising the locally dubbed “Brewer’s Row”.

Guided by one of the brewers, participants will explore the tasting room and brewery. We will start with a brief overview of the history of the brewery. The tour will cover topics including construction of the facility and equipment used to produce beer. It will also discuss the products, water treatment, and experience necessary for crafting a perfect beer. Questions are encouraged and a group Q&A will follow.
