We are excited to have RDN Parks and Trail Coordinator, Joan Michel, attend to discuss active transportation routes, the need to accommodate non-vehicular needs within existing rural road and rail corridors, and the recently completed rail trail project between Coombs and Parksville.
The new trail connecting Coombs and Parksville is made up of approximately 7 km of 3-metre wide, multi-use trail within the existing E&N rail corridor and will connect these communities for a variety of non-vehicular users.
