Vancouver Island Branch
Please join the Vancouver Island Branch for their information session titled "How to Obtain your P.Eng. or P.Geo. Designation". Caroline Westra, Manager, Academic and Experience Assessment at APEGBC, will review requirements for professional registration. This is a great opportunity for current members-in-training as well as supervisors and mentors to learn more about the registration process.
This presentation will go over the benefits of becoming a P.Eng. or P.Geo., application forms, the law and ethics seminar, the ethics test, examples of applicable experience, how to record/document experience, and more.
The EIT/GIT experience reporting system and process has changed considerably over the past few years, and this session will go over the current requirements. Members-in-Training (EITs/GITs) and university students are strongly encouraged to attend.
