Why don’t we require more from these people? This workshop challenges what we think about leading, coaching and disciplining. It gets to the root of the real reasons we don’t identify the shortcomings of those around us and offers a different approach to promoting collaboration and cooperation in the workplace.
Whether the difficult person you face is your boss, a co-worker, or someone you supervise, this seminar will teach you to assess whether or not the situation is coachable and how much control/influence you have. Based on this assessment, you will learn how to choose an effective course of action that will result in a more positive result.
The skills and knowledge gained in this seminar are easily translated to daily life, so whether you struggle when working with difficult people, or wonder how you could better deal with difficult people in your personal life, this workshop is for you.
Participants will learn:
- Why some people feel difficult to work with
- Which behaviours are coachable and which are not
- What to do when someone is not coachable
- What to do when the difficult person is your boss
- How to make sure you don’t become the difficult person
