The session will discuss new more comfortable, lower cost, and more efficient hydronic systems. The systems to be discussed are centered around single pipe systems. New generation single pipe hydronic systems have significant advantages over conventional two and four pipe hydronic systems and air and refrigerant systems. Advantages include:
  • Superior comfort. System is self balancing. Do not have to tweak balance valves to get adequate water flow and delivery of BTU’s.
  • Lower first cost. Reduced amount of piping and balancing costs.
  • Lower maintenance costs. Eliminate control and balancing valve maintenance.
  • Lower energy and life cycle costs. Reduced pumping horsepower versus air, refrigerant and conventional two and four pipe hydronic systems.
  • Green HVAC system. Reduced amount of refrigerant.
  • Reduced design and construction time.
Following the presentation, participants are invited to stay for a networking lunch.
