Over the past 10 years there has been a proliferation in the use of LiDAR for engineering and forestry applications. The successful analysis of these projects requires an in-depth understanding of LiDAR and its advancements to produce the most effective topographic maps.

This course presents the information needed for planning and processing of LiDAR data as well as producing LiDAR products. Some of the software packages and tools for data management and data analysis will be introduced.
