The Engineers and Geoscientists BC Tri-City Branch is hosting a Popsicle Stick Bridge Building Competition in Coquitlam as part of National Engineering and Geoscience Month 2018. Join us for an informative, fun-filled event aimed at promoting engineering and geoscience in our community and especially to the youth.
This event is part of National Engineering and Geoscience Month (NEGM); an annual celebration of engineering and geoscience across Canada. The goal of this event is to promote the awareness of the engineering and geoscience professions, showcase career choices, and the many ways in which engineering and geoscience relate to our everyday life.

Construction Tips and Hints
Check-in between 9:30 AM–10:20 AM.
Competition starts at 10:30 AM sharp!
Award presentation happens 30 minutes after the final bridge is tested for this category.
Middle School and High School
Check-in between 10:30 AM–11:20 AM.
Competition starts at 11:30 AM sharp!
Award presentation happens 30 minutes after the final bridge is tested for this category. (Separate awards will be given to the middle school and high school categories).
