HeroWork is a charity that renovates other charities through big community events called Radical Renovations (imagine a modern-day barn raising) where community comes together to improve a charity building in a very short period of time. These volunteer events that include dozens of companies and hundreds of volunteers are memorable experiences that people don't soon forget!

HeroWork's fall project (October 13 - November 4) is for the Mustard Seed on Queens Ave. The Mustard Seed serves over 5,000 people a month through their Food-Hamper Program. This Program operates out of their warehouse. We will transform this space into a grocery store-style experience that returns the dignity of choice to vulnerable people and families. We will also extend the Mustard Seed's upper floor office space over the warehouse, increasing organizational space.

Tasks will be general volunteer tasks such as sanding, painting, cleaning, etc. The tasks change as we move through the event. If anyone has renovation skills they will be allocated more skilled tasks. For the most part we will work to have the Victoria Branch team work together as a group.
