All engineering and geoscience professionals are required to seal professional documents that are prepared by them or under their direct supervision and delivered to others who will rely on them. Unfortunately, confusion regarding sealing requirements remains one of the top issues identified in Practice Reviews and Organizational Quality Management audits. This session will provide an overview of the purpose of a seal, which documents require sealing, who is permitted to seal, and how to apply your seal.
Following this session there will be a more in-depth session on the Notarius Digital Seal “Going Paperless, Digital Signatures are the Solution”.
