This seminar is geared towards company principals, senior engineers, human resources professionals, training coordinators, and engineers-in-training who are interested in establishing this program for their engineering firm. An overview will be provided on how employers can partner with Engineers and Geoscientists BC to accredit their training programs and recommend their EITs for licensure through an expedited, low-risk pathway.

Leila is the Member-in-Training Program Administrator at Engineers and Geoscientists BC. She oversees the Accredited Employer Member-in-Training Program, as well as other initiatives meant to help engineers-in-training and geoscientists-in-training obtain their professional licence. Leila is also responsible for establishing and maintaining the self-paced, online training modules related to professional registration, and offers external group presentations on the Competency Experience Reporting System.
Leila has been with Engineers and Geoscientists BC since 2015 with prior experience as a Clinical Research Coordinator at the University of British Columbia (UBC), and as a Compliance Officer in the private career training sector. She holds credentials from the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) in Business Management, Human Resources Management, and Biotechnology.
