The Women In Engineering and Geoscience Division would like to invite you to participate in our book club. Each session we will select a book intended to spark a conversation about women and the workplace, and we will host a teleconference with members across the province in order for us to connect and discuss the book together.

How Book Club Works

The book club is run by the Women in Engineering and Geoscience Division executive committee. Books are selected based on participant interest and relevance to women in engineering and geoscience. Sessions are hosted via teleconference so that members across the province can discuss and connect on the book together.

About the Book

Following the success of Lean In and Why Women Should Rule the World, the authors of the bestselling Womenomics provide an informative and practical guide to understanding the importance of confidence—and learning how to achieve it—for women of all ages and at all stages of their career.

In The Confidence Code: The Science and Art of Self-Assurance-What Women Should Know, Kay and Shipman go beyond admonishing women to "lean in." Instead, they offer the inspiration and practical advice women need to close the gap and achieve the careers they want and deserve.

How to get the Book
