Engineers and Geoscientists BC Vice President, Harlan Kelly, P.Eng., will talk about current association initiatives and how they’re making an impact on the professions of engineering and geoscience.

About the Speaker

Harlan Kelly P.Eng., P.E., is a private consultant, previously a Vice President and CEO. with Opus DaytonKnight, and Dayton & Knight respectively. In prior years he worked as a private consultant and as a project engineer with McElhanney as well as the GVRD. Harlan has worked in the environmental engineering discipline for water resources including wastewater, drainage, irrigation, and drinking water facilities throughout the province and in North America as well as Japan and New Zealand. He has been an adjunct professor and taught at UBC for over 12 years. He served on Engineers and Geoscientists BC’s council preciously for 6 years where he volunteered on several committees. He was also a past Board Member of BCWWA where he served as President. Harlan has a Bachelor’s of Applied Science and Master’s of Engineering from UBC. He has published over 70 papers and received several awards from his peers for his engineering contributions.
