Popsicle Stick Bridge Building Competition

Organized by the Sea to Sky Branch

Status: Registrations are currently being accepted.
Date: Sunday, May 26, 2019
Time: Sign-in/Registration at 12:00 PM. Testing begins at 1:00 PM.
The length of the event depends on the number of participants that bring bridges for testing.
Location: Sechelt Nation Community Hall (formerly Sechelt Indian Band Hall), Sechelt, BC
Cost: Participants can pick up a bridge building kit at Gibsons and Sechelt at a cost of $5, which is refunded when you bring your bridge to the event for testing. Registration information is included with the kit and will be available in mid-April. (We are currently waiting for our supplies to arrive).

Note: This event is open to all students in surrounding areas.
The goal of this event is to promote the awareness of the engineering and geoscience professions, showcase career choices, and the many ways in which engineering and geoscience relate to our everyday life.
