PARC is a group of award-winning, independent living retirement residences in British Columbia. PARC sets the brand apart above all competitors because they get involved at every level. They demonstrate this by being a proud Living Wage Certified employer in order to create a healthy and vibrant work environment. They not only build and operate all their premium retirement residences, but also connect with and contribute to the well-being of the local communities they are a part of. They do it all with a whole lot of heart.

About the Presentation

Owned by a European-trained architect and operated by hundreds of dedicated employees who appreciate the interest the owner has for building residences that not only meet code but exceed all expectations to create energy efficient buildings. PARC operates four residences and is in the process of building four more. One of those residences will be located in Victoria and PARC is here with us to share how these residences are designed, planned, and operated as well as the importance of lessons learned and operational data to be utilized for further development.

Engineers and Geoscientists BC Victoria selected this speaker to share with the community a future key player in all aspects of engineering. The community will benefit from learning about what retirement means and what are some of the key aspects to consider when thinking about retirement.
