- 5:30 PM–7:00 PM: Seminar for Members-in-Training
- 7:00 PM–8:30 PM: Seminar for Internationally Trained Engineers and Geoscientists
Come learn about the new reporting system for work experience, as well as the other requirements for professional registration so that you can provide guidance to your juniors. This year there will be two sessions offered: one for internationally trained individuals, and one for locally trained members-in-training.
Both presentations will covers the following topics:
- The route to professional registration,
- Experience reporting and competency-based assessment, and
- Law and ethics requirements.
The focus for the first session for internationally trained individuals will be on the route most international applicants will take on the path to professional registration. Internationally trained engineers and geoscientists are encouraged to attend the first session, locally trained individuals are encouraged to attend the second session. If you wish you are welcome to attend both, however there are similarities between the two sessions.
