About the Event


This event will be a virtual tour followed by an online meeting and Q&A with the President and the Engineering Team. Ghazal received her PhD in 2016 from UBC. After working as a Postdoctoral Fellow at UBC, she joined Steel Industry and started working at Highland Foundry Ltd. Ghazal has been leading the Materials Engineering Department and Laboratory since then. Ghazal has been volunteering for Engineers and Geoscientists BC's Sea to Sky Branch since 2016 and contributing as an executive member since 2017. Mina completed her degree of Materials Engineering at UBC specializing in Nanofibers and Manufacturing. Since joining Highland, she has worked on projects with several different departments. She has also been a contributing member of Engineers and Geoscientists BC's Sea to Sky, Math Challengers, and ASM as well as other organizations.
